firstly, id like to say rest in peace Steve Irwin-that guy was so cool, and caring of the environment. I always loved his shows, and so did lots of people. Some people might think "well if you go poking dangerous animals then you're gonna get killed" thats not the point, the poor guys dead! But, atleast he died doing something he loved and he will be remeberd and loved for many years. So good luck to his family, Terri, Bindi and Robert "bob" . i cant begin to imagine how they must feel
If he was to be remeberd by a quote, i think this would be a good one "I have no fear of losing my life — if I have to save a koala or a crocodile or a kangaroo or a snake, mate, I will save it." and of course..."crikey!!........"

on a lighter note....my pyschadelic piece! The inspiration for it is of course the amazing bass-that thing is damm funky!! so what better then to do some funky art for it, and in the middle flea and his 1961 shell pink jazz bass (corret me if im wrong
) hahahah there's only two in the world with these colours,flea has one and what does he do?stick some punk rock stickers on it 
its the one he can be seen with on tour at the moe, and its the one he primalry used on stadium arcadium (again, correct if im wrong )
tell me what you see when you look at it, come back to it, and look at it agian

this is a brilliant work! reminds me a lot of the music video for zephyr song, also the color choice reminds me of the album art for the red hot chili peppers (self title)... im also impressed by the minor details you included such as the tats and the dots on the neck of the bass! i spose this is even more favourable to me because i play the bass and one biggest inspirations to me is flea

aww cool! that was a main thing i wanted to get right, the lil details and things-but stupidly, i missed out one important thing. lol i was showing it to some girl who plays bass and i dont really like so i wanted to show her up (evil i know but shes two faced) and i was like muahahhahah, ive got it all here, you cant say nothing! then she pointed it out and i was like....bollocks......
(sorry, this drags) *deep breath* also when i was doing it i origianly went wrong, so i traced the bass to start again (luckery i hadn't started colouring yet) and i left this detail off because it needed re drawing anyway, but fotgot to put it back in! see if you can find it, though im pretty glad that you didnt even notice it,and your a follower of the flea so i guess its not that bad.
